Our Process

The very first time we meet you and see the garden space is always an exciting time. We get to know you, how you want to use the garden, the styles you like, what inspires you. It’s the beginning of an enjoyable process.

We will then meet with you again and discuss the ideas and develop them further with you. We enjoy working in a way where designing your garden is very much a joint process where we listen to you and allow the design to evolve organically.

Design

Scott and I will work together to draw up a couple of overall concepts that shows a general style and feel to the garden, and how the different spaces are defined and relate to each other.

Then we move into a detailed design, specifying what the garden is going to be built out of. Layering up materials, colours, and plants. We then produce a package of a bill of quantities, plant schedules and detailed drawings from which the garden can be built. 

Garden Build

We worked a trusted landscape contractors to carry out the build. We still like to have involvement in the build process because we are able to trouble shoot and project manage effectively this way. We also readily available to answer any design queries. We also enjoy seeing the different stages of the build and seeing the design come to life. 

Aftercare

We work with a team of gardeners who we know can carry out the ongoing maintenance and plant care of the garden as and when required. We like to come and visit the garden once the plants have settled in and started growing to check on progress.
